The most important difference between both courses are that Pimlseur teaches you Spanish at a slow pace, while Spanish Like Crazy gives you more information in each lesson. With Pimsleur you learn 2-3 new words per lesson and just few, most useful verb conjugation forms, whereas with LSPC you learn much more new words and all forms of verb conjugation. Not all it’s hyped up to be
You will not come off anywhere near fluency. It does get you talking basic sentences though. The highlight of this product is  the FSI program …. I mastered each level and probably still could not hold a spontaneous conversation with a 5 year old. It is however better than most but not the best out there.
